School House Nursery: Admissions
If you wish to put your child's name down for a place at School House Nursery please call in at the nursery or call Nursery Manager on 01304 615250. Your child will be put on the waiting list and you will be contacted as and when a place becomes available.
Most of our new intake starts in or around September but we do occasionally have new starters at other times in the year, space permitting. Children must be two years old or above on starting nursery but can be placed on the waiting list at any age.

Holidays & Closures
Closure dates are always published in advance in the parent newsletter and posted on the Nursery notice board and website.
The Nursery is open 51 weeks of the year and will only be closed on bank holidays and for approximately one week between Christmas and New Year. Payment is not required for bank holidays or over the Christmas closure dates specified by the Nursery. In addition, the Nursery will close 3 times a year so that staff are able to participate in training, development and team activities. Parents/Carers will not be charged for these closures.
The only other time the Nursery may close is due to severe weather conditions, as detailed in our severe weather conditions and similar emergencies policy.
Once a decision has been made to close the Nursery, or restrict attendance, the Nursery Manager will post a message on the Nursery Website, www.schoolhouse-nursery.org.uk and/or on local radio to say that we are closed. We will also use our text messaging service to let parents know of any decisions made regarding closure of the nursery.
Extra one off Sessions
There are sometimes extra sessions available during the week for current nursery and Before/After School Club children. To check availability and book extra one off sessions parents should contact nursery to ask when sessions are available or call the nursery before 9 am on the day the session is required.
